Goon Soul is a Brooklyn Based alt-soul

roots in spoken word poetry, as well as his studies in sociology and literature, laid a foundation for his current work in music. His work toys with themes of existential angst, heartache, and self love-- themes share
d by his peers in the Bushwick underground art and queer scenes.
While he is accustomed performing in Brooklyn dive bars and DIY spaces, he has performed on stages throughout the city, and internationally, including
The Jane Hotel, Ludlow House, Trans Pecos, The Lash
El Sotano (Costa Rica). He has been featured in Mask Magazine,
and around the Web
In 2016, he was invited to participate in the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) distinguished NYC Songwriter Workshop. He
cites his musical influences as Otis Redding, Chet Baker, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, and Anohni to scratch the surface. Look out for more Goon Soul releases this spring, as well as his newest record this summer.
